Dense Packing Insulation
Creates an air seal that eliminates air infiltration, leading to less heating and cooling costs with dense packing insulation!
Seal up air leaks with dense packing insulation.
Dense packing insulation creates a complete air seal, eliminates air infiltration, and maximizes R-value, meaning less heating and cooling losses for a more comfortable home environment and a lower energy bill.
Dense packing insulation is a highly efficient insulation option that comes with many benefits. Not only will your energy bill be lower, but it will also protect against moisture, mold, pests, and fire. It’s also a green option, as cellulose is made primarily of recycled materials.
Because of the seasonal extremes we experience here in Eau Claire, WI, it can be difficult to maintain a comfortable, draft-free home. Dense packing insulation makes it easier by reducing heating and cooling losses, meaning during the winter you’ll keep the heat in, and during the summer you’ll keep the heat out. This also leads to a lower energy bill, and may even make you eligible for certain rebates and tax credits.
We install the cellulose at 4 pounds of pressure which does not allow the cellulose to settle over time. For more information, or to request a free quote, contact us here!
What is R-value?
R-value is the capacity of an insulating material to resist heat flow. The higher the R-value, the greater the insulating power.
Do you use this type of installation throughout my whole home?
Dense packing is most commonly done to the exterior walls of an existing home, and at key juncture points.
