There are many things to remember to ask when you are interviewing the contractors you have give you an estimate for your roof. Here’s a helpful checklist to use:

How long has your company been in business?

Are you fully insured and licensed? (And ask for proof) 

Do you have your own employees that preform the work or do use hire out sub-contractors? 

Does your company have a place of business that we could visit to see samples and talk with your staff? 

Do some online research with BBB, Social Media, and their website to learn more about the company.

Have a sit down meeting with the company representative to go over products and warranty included in the estimate.

Check with your family and friends for a referral to who they have had great service from.

Do you have a list of references I can contact to hear first hand how you manage projects?

Do you handle the building permit if it’s needed? 

What does your warranty workmanship include?
