How can I make my home more energy efficient & maintenance free?
The home makeover must be done after any additions to your home (which we offer as well). You could do any or all of the following home improvements, but the following is what we would do if a home owner wanted to a complete home makeover that focused on cutting energy costs and reducing exterior maintenance.
First, we would start with a Home Performance Test to see where you can be more energy efficient.
Next, we would start at the top with a lifetime roof, skylights and/or solar panels and attic insulation while we have the roof open.
Then we would work our way down with aluminum soffit and fascia, high performance glass window packages, dense-pack insulation in the side walls and lifetime warrantied siding. A new composite deck would also be a great addition to the maintenance free aspect.
We would also install seamless gutters with gutter protection, install high performance spray foam insulation in box sills, install exterior/interior foundation foam board and replace or add any necessary concrete.
Finally, we offer the final landscaping touch up to really finish off the job!
